NIVO® Pedestals for wood decks

Designed and developed by our wood engineers, the NIVO range of pedestals offers you a complete range of adjustable PVC pedestals specially designed for the installation of wooden decks on decking slabs (wood or concrete). 

Adjustable from 25 to 240 mm in height, our pedestals are height-adjustable and ensure robustness and precision when mounting your terrace on slabs. The quality of the material used allows us to guarantee resistance to any type of environment: bad weather, UV rays, and remarkable stability over time, proof of the quality of our products.

The NIVO pedestals are calibrated and dimensioned for optimum quality. The base of the pedestal (Ø20cm = 314cm²) is wide enough to prevent the terrace from sinking into the ground. The diameter of the rotation screw is one of the widest on the market, to guarantee you the best possible stability.

In addition, each pedestal head is fitted with 4 tabs that can be used to hold any type of slab: wood, gravel, concrete, etc...

Thanks to its rotating screw system, the NIVO® pedestal is very easy to install. Adjustment of the level of the structure is made as easy as possible.

Indeed, NIVO has developed a range of pedestals especially designed for the installation of wooden decks on joists or of self-supporting concrete or wooden slatted slabs. Solid and resistant to a load of at least one tonne, our pedestals are adjustable in height and easy to install. NIVO pedestals are adjustable in height from 40 to 60mm. And to complete the range of heights, a 6-centimetre extension can be inserted between the base and the support.

In addition, our pedestals are all compliant with D.T.U. 43 and 51-4. The admissible load per pedestal is therefore 1000 kg, weight to be respected according to the DTU (P.V. of compression tests on request).

NIVO pedestals must be laid on stabilised ground (waterproofing, concrete, sand, topsoil, etc.). To prevent weeds from growing under the structure, we strongly advise you to lay a geotextile felt .

NIVO pedestals allow self-supporting concrete or wooden slabs to be laid between the tabs. On average, 4 to pedestals per m2 are needed to create a stable and solid ground.
